Container Solutions
For high-volume wastewater challenges, our Containerised solutions are engineered for robustness, high flow rates, and resilience.
Containerised Plants: Plug-and-Play Efficiency
Capacity:
High-volume capacity, up to 700 000 liters per day.
Footprint:
Tiny Footprint compared to traditional plants, essential for space-constrained sites.
Benefits:
Rapid Deployment. Manufactured, dry-commissioned, and fully tested off-site, delivered as a robust, mobile, "plug-and-play" steel unit. This allows for rapid scaling or relocation, a direct benefit to permanent civil-work systems.
BioLoo Toilet Systems
This integrated product line addresses critical sanitation needs in challenging environments where traditional infrastructure is costly or unavailable.
Integrated Solution
BioLoo Advantage
Flush toilets are integrated directly with a miniature wastewater treatment plant.
Benefit
Complete Turnkey Sanitation: Eliminates the need for external septic or bucket systems in short-term or remote sites.
Treatment & Reuse
BioLoo Advantage
Uses our Natural Treatment biological processes to produce clean, odourless water meeting discharge limits for immediate, non-potable reuse.
Benefit
Health & Safety: Directly addresses public health hazards associated with poor sanitation, promoting water conservation and environmental protection.
The Financial Advantage: Rapid ROI
Beyond compliance and durability, our products are engineered for cost efficiency, offering a fast return on your investment, especially for high-volume users:
Water Cost Reduction
Our treated effluent is suitable for reuse (irrigation, dust suppression, wash bays), leading to a reduction in freshwater consumption of up to 50%.
Power Savings
Low-aeration requirements mean less energy usage, translating to significant monthly savings on utility bills compared to high-energy treatment processes.
Proven ROI
Commercial clients often achieve full system payback in under 3 years through combined water and sewage utility savings.
FAQs
1. How do I know which system size is right for my property?
System selection depends on your daily wastewater volume (measured in liters per day). Our Flush n Spray® range is perfect for residential use, starting at 2,000L/day for single homes. For larger applications like lodges, schools, or mines, our Modular and Containerized plants can handle from 10,000L up to 1 million liters per day. Contact our technical team for a free assessment to calculate your specific flow requirements.
2. Is the "Flush n Spray®" system easy to install on an existing property?
Yes. Our residential systems are designed for both new builds and retrofitting onto existing properties. They are compact and typically installed underground to preserve your landscaping. Because the system is modular, it can be integrated with your current plumbing relatively quickly, requiring minimal civil works compared to traditional municipal connections.
3. What is the difference between your "Modular" and "Containerized" plants?
Modular plants consist of free-standing tanks (usually above-ground on a concrete base) that can be expanded by adding more units as your demand grows. Containerized plants are fully self-contained treatment works built inside a steel shipping container. These are the ultimate “plug-and-play” solutions—highly durable, vandal-resistant, and ideal for rapid deployment in remote or rugged environments like mining camps or construction sites.
4. What kind of power supply is required for these systems?
Our systems are among the most energy-efficient on the market, utilizing “low-power” aeration technology. Most of our residential units draw less than 1.2 KWh per 1,000 liters treated—roughly the same as a standard 40W to 60W lightbulb. This low draw makes our systems ideal for sites running on solar power or backup generators.
5. Can the BioLoo system work in areas with absolutely no water infrastructure?
Yes, the BioLoo is specifically designed for off-grid sanitation. It is an integrated flush toilet and treatment plant in one. It provides a hygienic, water-borne experience without needing a connection to a sewer line or a large external septic system. It is a popular choice for rural schools, clinics, and temporary building sites where health and dignity are a priority.
All our systems are designed to meet the Department of Water & Sanitation (DWS) General Authorisations, as this is a strict requirement for developers and commercial property owners in South Africa.
